CocosGlo is a Latina-owned small business in Des Moines, Iowa, inspired by my mother, Socorro, affectionately known as Coco. The "Glo" reflects the radiant experience after a relaxing skincare routine, or getting glammed up for the day. Having grown up watching my mom create homemade face masks, I knew I wanted to pamper her with unlimited facials as long as I can. I furthered my education in the beauty industry at Iowa School of beauty in 2020 where I became a Licensed Esthetician in the state of Iowa and later in my career, I discovered my passion for lash extensions and became certified in the application of them. Now, creating customized lash sets is truly my happy place where I feel so much excitement as I get to make something so beautiful with my own hands as I let my creativity flow. 

 

At CocosGlo, you’re welcomed in a private in-home studio where luxury meets comfort. I’m dedicated to providing a safe space where you’re never rushed, and each client is treated like family. You’re not just a client here you’re part of a dream I’m living, supported by my wonderful husband who helped me create the perfect space for my beautiful guests.
